COM 2025 | Conference of Metallurgy and Materials & International Conference on Light Materials \u2013 Science and Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring in Montreal will host two joint conferences next June with COM\/LightMat 2025<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Annual Conference of Metallurgy and Materials will be the 64th conference organized by the Metallurgical Society<\/a> (MetSoc), one of the four societies and five divisions that make up the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). In October 2010, the Society adopted its new name, the Metallurgy and Materials Society of CIM. This year, the focus will be on light metals. Three members of REGAL are on the organizing committee. The deadline for abstract submission is December 10, 2024. Full submission details are on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Conference on Light Materials \u2013 Science and Technology is the 6th LightMAT<\/a> conference that provides a platform for academic and industrial researchers, scientists and engineers to present and discuss recent developments and advances in magnesium, aluminum, titanium and their alloys and material combinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
