This conference, organized under the auspices of the CMI (Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum), aims to provide a privileged platform for the dissemination of results of academic research in materials science, and emphasizes student contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1959\" height=\"611\" src=\"https:\/\/regal-aluminium.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/cmsc-2026-horizontal-logo.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5595\" srcset=\"https:\/\/regal-aluminium.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/cmsc-2026-horizontal-logo.png.webp 1959w, https:\/\/regal-aluminium.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/cmsc-2026-horizontal-logo.png-1200x374.webp 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1959px) 100vw, 1959px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the conference will include 8 symposia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Materials for Additive Manufacturing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Light Metals: Development, Production, and Processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials for Health Applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Design and Artificial Intelligence Applied to Materials Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials for Clean and Renewable Energy: Production, Storage, and Utilization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Novel, Advanced, and Functionalized Materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surface Engineering, Functional Coatings, and Interfacial Phenomena<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainability and Circular Economy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cmscconf.org\/abstract-submission\/\">submit your abstract<\/a>\u00a0now for a presentation or poster. The deadline is <strong>February 4, 2026<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes will be awarded to the best presentations and posters.
