The <strong>deadline <\/strong>to submit your application was <strong>April 2, 2026<\/strong>, by submitting the <a href=\"https:\/\/regal-aluminium.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/fonds-etudiant-regal-2026-2027-fr_en-2.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Form<\/a>. Congratulations to all <a href=\"https:\/\/regal-aluminium.ca\/en\/scholarship-recipients\/\">students<\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-small-grey-text-mono\">Allen-Schultz \u2013 Hatch Scholarship (2025-2026 competition CLOSED)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default\">Objective of the scholarship<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of decarbonizing metal production, promote research rooted in industrial applications of aluminium or magnesium production, or in emerging electrometallurgical processes, and provide the chosen person with Hatch\u2019s experience and expertise in these fields. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To honour the memory of Allen Schultz, former Director of Light Metals at Hatch, his wife Jan Guy, owner of AMACOR, is offering a <strong>scholarship of $10,000 CAD<\/strong> to anyone enrolled in graduate studies (doctorate and master\u2019s degree with a thesis) related to the industrial production of aluminium, magnesium or electrometallurgy. In addition, Hatch offers a <strong>paid internship of at least 3 months<\/strong> to the selected person. Within the REGAL strategic group, in 2025, women members accounted for 32 % of the REGAL student community, 13 % of collaborators and 14 % of co-researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2022, REGAL has been committed to taking concrete steps to increase the number of women among its student members.
