20 million for the CURAL

Congratulations to the University Research Centre on Aluminium (CURAL) at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) for receiving $20 million in government funding to expand and acquire state-of-the-art equipment. This will allow Quebec to continue innovating and developing knowledge in the field of aluminum.

Thanks to this new equipment, it will be possible to improve processes to develop greener aluminum, for example. The positive impact of this upcoming expansion extends far beyond the university, as CURAL is well-established in its community and has forged links with businesses in the Saguenay region, which will also be able to use this equipment for joint research. Congratulations!
