Two prizes at the Rendez-vous de la recherche et de la création

Last February, the research and creation meeting was held at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). During this activity, students and researchers had the opportunity to showcase their work among the university and regional community.

During this week of activities, two members of REGAL stood out for the quality of their work.

• Andrie Harmaji, doctoral student in engineering under the supervision of Reza Jafari and co-supervision of Guy Simard, was awarded the prix Gelareh Momen (700$) with his poster
  Valorisation de résidus industriels pour du béton durable en région nordique
  
• Théo Potvin, bachelor’s degree student in mechanical engineering, finished in 3rd place in the general scientific poster competition among bachelor’s level students for his poster
  Études des phénomènes de transfert de masse et de chaleur lors de l’injection d’alumine dans un bain d’électrolyse par imagerie schlieren
