Six REGAL students win ICSOBA-2024 Student Award

The International Committee for Study of Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium (ICSOBA) held its 42nd International Conference from 27 to 31 October 2024 in Lyon (France). ICSOBA invited graduate students to submit their papers for the student competition.

Six REGAL students won an ICSOBA-2024 Student Award, each worth US$1,000.

Here are the award-winning papers:

Best paper award for Aluminium sessions:

Congratulations on the excellent work!

During this conference in Lyon, participants were able to return to their roots: to the land of Paul Héroult and to the site of one of the first factories where Karl Josef Bayer implemented his patented process for extracting alumina from bauxite.
